Abstract
    Two new Scalptia species (Mollusca, Gastropoda: Cancellariidae) from the Indian Ocean are described: S. harmulensis from Oman and S. richardi from the southern Gulf of Bengal. In addition, two shells of S. articularoides Verhecken, 1995, a species described from off southeastern India, are reported from the Gulf of Oman.
