Abstract
    During the French-Indonesian campaign KARUBAR, mainly devoted to the deepwater fauna, carried out in Indonesia, in the east part of the Moluccas, 37 species of peneid shrimps were collected. Most of them had previously been recorded from the region (or those nearby). One of them, Solenocera barunajaya, is described as new and compared with related species.
