Abstract
Zoila marginata nudispira n. ssp. from the southern coast of Western Australia represents a deep-water subspecies sharing features with three, probably derived, taxa: . Z. m. marginata, and Z. m. albanyensis from adjacent shallower habitats, and Z. orientalis from the eastern side of the Great Australian Bight. Itis considered ancestral to these. Zoila jeaniana praeclara n. ssp. differs from Z. friendii thalamega and Z. jeaniana jeaniana by its shape and color pattern, which are intermediate between these taxa. Its sparsely spotted, pale and high margins are sharply separated from the black color of the base, which makes it different from these.
