Abstract
Two new species of the late Miocene of NW France are described as Niveria ledoni n. sp. and N. miocarinata n. sp. They are closing the gap between the older Niveria jozefgregoi FEHSE, 2011 of the Paratethys and the younger Niveria permixta (CRISTOFORI & JAN,1832) of the early Mediterranean. Taxonomic problems are discussed.
