Abstract
Two species of Amphipoda are added to the list of marine fauna of Roscoff: Ampelisca spooneri and Scopelocheirus hopei. During the ten-year survey (1977-1987) of three benthic communities from the Bay of Morlaix, 51 species were added to the list of marine fauna of Roscoff. Four were species new for science. The list of these species is given, together with a discussion of the biogeographical distribution of the totality of the new amphipod species recorded between 1970 to 1987. An increase of the number of northern species appears in relation to a fall of sea water temperature.
