Abstract: | The research group Functional Morphology of the University of Antwerp studies the evolution of the morphology and function of vertebrate musculoskeletal systems by combining comparative and experimental methods together with ecological and behavioural aspects. The group describes the shape of structural elements as well as their relationship (functional and mechanical) with each other and the environment.
In the marine field, the research group studies suction feeding in fishes |
