Abstract
Sedert meerdere decennia wordt aan tal van Europese onderzoeksinstelling onderzoek verricht rond selectie en veredeling van economisch belangrijke boomsoorten. De nood laat zich dan ook voelen om: -de samenwerking en complementariteit van de onderzoeksteams te bevorderen, -de bestaande infrastructuren te ontsluiten. TREEBREEDEX is een "Co-Ordination Action" (6de Kaderprogramma van de E.U.).
